STOJŠIĆ NIKOLA: He was born on December 18, 1941, in Manđelos, Sremska Mitrovica municipality. He graduated from the Faculty of Technology. He married his wife Živka in 1965. He was the director of the Sugar Factory in Sremska Mitrovica from 1972 to 1978 and then the president of the Municipal Assembly of Sremska Mitrovica.

 

​Since 1984 he worked in the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina as a member of the Presidency on a permanent basis and became President of the Presidency of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina in June 1990. He was a member of the management boards of the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce for several terms.

 

During his mandate as President, significant progress was made in the development of the economy of Vojvodina.

In addition to contributing to the success of the Vojvodina economy before the economic embargo, he ensured, as President of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, a satisfactory level of functioning of the Vojvodina economy even during the sanctions. He has achieved successful cooperation with members of other regional chambers and national chambers of commerce in the country and abroad. He maintained business contacts and established economic cooperation with relevant associations, institutions, and business partners abroad.

He is especially credited for the development of management and training of directors in the field of modern management, as well as for the promotion of the most successful directors in the economy of Vojvodina. During all his terms, he highly respected the work of administrative services and directly contributed to the development of professional work of the services of branch associations and chamber coordination committees.
