He was born in 1922 in Užička Požega.

As a graduate of the Kraljevo Gymnasium, he joined the Kraljevo-Vrnjačka-Trstenik Partisan  Detachment. He was in the First Company of the Kraljevo Battalion. During the Second World War, he performed various duties.

After the war, he was decorated several times. He is a deserving citizen of Kraljevo.

​

He is the founder of the Mountaineering and Skiing Club "Gvozdac".
